General Education Requirements (45cr)[edit | edit source]
Some General Education requirements may be satisfied by courses required for the major. Students should work with an adviser to select courses.
- Arts (GA): 6 credits Sophia: Visual Communications, Art History I, Art History II
- Humanities (GH): 6 credits Sophia: Ethics, Ancient Greek Philosophers, U.S. History I, U.S. History II, Critical Thinking
- Health and Wellness (GHW): 3 credits Sophia: Intro to Nutrition
- Natural Sciences (GN): 9 credits Sophia: Into to Chemistry, Environmental Science, Human Biology, Microbiology
- Social and Behavioral Sciences (GS): 6 credits Sophia: Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Intro to Sociology, Into to Psychology
- Writing and Speaking (GWS): 9 credits A student must receive a grade of C or better in GWS courses. Study.com: English Comp I, English Comp II
- Quantification (GQ): 6 credits A student must receive a grade of C or better in GQ courses. Sophia: Intro to Stats, Calculus SL: College Algebra
- Integrative Studies: 6 credits
